WHICH AMONG OTHER THINGS AUTHORIZED THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT, APPROPRIATE, AND ADMINISTER
2019 FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA)
URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE (US&R) GRANT FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE
THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR DOLLARS, BY EXTENDING
THE PERIOD FOR RECIEPT OF GRANT FUNDS TO AUGUST 31, 2023;
WHEREAS, the Fire Department is requesting an amendment to the City Council Resolution No. 87936 C.M.S., to extend the period to accept receipt of funds from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022, to September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2023; now; therefore, be it
WHEREAS, the Fire Department is requesting to expend grant funds in accordance with the FY 2019 spending plan, therefore, be it
RESOLVED: that Resolution No. 87936 C.M.S. is amended to authorize the City Administrator to accept extend the period for the receipt of funds from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022, to September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2023; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to expend the grant funds in accordance with the FY 2019 spending plan; and, be it
2 FURTHER RESOLVED: that all agreements issued hereunder shall be reviewed and approved by the office of the City Attorney for form and legality and copies shall be placed on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
