Subject: Resolution Electing the President of the City Council
Resolution 89432 CMS, at Rule 6, provides that the President of the City Council shall be elected by the City Council at the first meeting in January to serve a two-year term as the presiding officer of the City Council.
Attached is a resolution for your consideration that would elect the President of the City Council for a two-year term beginning January 9, 2023 and ending January 6, 2025.
