A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENTS OF
NICK PERAINO AND ADRIONNA FIKE TO THE BUSINESS TAX
BOARD OF REVIEW
WHEREAS, Section 601 of the City Charter provides that members of City boards and commissions shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of five members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Oakland Municipal Code Section 5.04.550, the Business Tax Board of Review is comprised of the City Administrator, the City Auditor, an employee of the City selected by the City Administrator, and two community members nominated by the Mayor and appointed by the Council each for a term of four years; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby confirms the Mayor’s appointment of the following individuals to Oakland’s Business Tax Board of Review as set forth below:
Nick Peraino, to serve a four-year term on the Business Tax Board of Review beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2023, filling the seat previously held by Chip Conradi.
Adrionna Fike, to serve a four-year term on the Business Tax Board of Review beginning October 2, 2020 and ending October 1, 2024, filling the seat previously held by Jens Hillmer.
