SUMMARY OF REDUCTIONS
• In addition to the 62 sworn positions that were frozen in previous fiscal years, freezes an additional 31 sworn positions for a total of 93 frozen sworn positions, reducing the current baseline of 803 to 710
• In addition to the 14 professional staff positions that were frozen in previous fiscal years, freezes an additional five (5) professional staff positions for a total of 19 frozen professional staff positions, reducing the current baseline of 351.5 to 332.5 • Overtime reduction of 15% departmentwide
• Reduction in academies from eight (8) to five (5)
• Reduces needed vehicle replacements baseline amount from $11 million to $5 million
