A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE MAYOR’S REAPPOINTMENT OF
NICK PERAINO TO THE BUSINESS TAX BOARD OF REVIEW
WHEREAS, Section 601 of the City Charter provides that members of City boards and commissions shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of five members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Oakland Municipal Code Section 5.04.5 20 the Business Tax Board of Review is comprised of the City Administrator, the City Auditor, an employee of the City selected by the City Administrator, and two community members nominated by the Mayor and appointed by the Council each for a term of four years; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby confirms the Mayor’s reappointment of the following individual to Oakland’s Business Tax Board of Review as set forth below:
Nick Peraino, to serve a four-year term on the Business Tax Review Board beginning October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2027 filling the seat previously held by himself.
