17.10andOaklandMunicipalCodeSection5.04.263to conformwiththe statelaw,KeepingKidsClosetoHomeAct,aswella sPlanningCode amendmentsrelatedtotheGeneralPlanUpdatePhaseIPlanningCode amendmentpackage.Theamendmentswouldexpandthed efinitionof PermanentResidentialActivitiestoincludeFamilyDaycareHomesand wouldclarifythatsuchfacilitieslicensedbytheSt atewouldnotneed tofiledocumentationwiththeCitypertainingtobusinesslicenses.The packageadditionallyincludesrevisionstothePlanningCodethatserve toensuretheentiretyofthePlanningCodeisconsistentwithrevisions recentlyadoptedaspartoftheGeneralPlanUpdate,PhaseIprocess.
