(BROOKLYN BASIN FACILITIES AND SERVICES); APPROVING CERTAIN RELATED MATTERS; AND ADOPTING APPROPRIATE FINDINGS UNDER
THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT
TheOrdinancewouldauthorizetheCitytoborrowfor andonbehalfof CityofOaklandCommunityFacilitiesDistrictNo.2023-1(BrooklynBasin Facilities and Services) (“CFD”) up to Six Million Dollars ($6,000,000) pursuant to the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act o f 1982, as amended,Chapter 2.5 ofPart 1 of Division2 of Title 5 (commencing withSection53311)oftheCaliforniaGovernmentCod e.Theauthorized bondswouldbepayablefromspecialtaxesleviedin theCFD.TheOrdi- nance further provides that no further environmental review is re- quiredundertheCaliforniaEnvironmentalQualityActasaresultofthe issuanceofthebonds.
