At the request of the Public Works Department, DWES conducted a compliance analysis of the updated Schedule E dated August 9, 2024 from Wood Rodgers, the firm selected for award of the above subject project.
Per the email from Wood Rodgers, including a statement from their subconsultant, declining the work, and therefore, consenting to the substitution. Additionally, an additional consultant was added to the project as a general consultant. Wood Rodgers as the prime intends to perform the services originally assigned to Horizon Water and Environmental, LLC. Per the L/SLBE Program, the contractor must make reasonable to maintain the L/SLBE participation achieved at the time of award.
Due to the lack of certified SLBE firms, DWES has determined that Wood Rodger was unable to maintain the original L/SLBE proposed at the time of award. Therefore, they have complied with L/SLBE requirement in this regard. Following is the revised level of L/SLBE compliance achieved.
