Department of Workplace and Employment Standards (DWES) conducted a C ompliance Analysis of five (5) bids submitted to the City in response to the above referenced project.
In s
ummary, only four (4) of the five (5) bidders met the L/SLBE participation requirements . One (1) bidder did not meet the L/SLBE participation requirements; this bidder should not be further considered for contract award.
The
Local and Small Local Business Enterprise (L/SLBE) participation requirement for this project was set at 20%: 15% LBE and 5% SLBE. Specialty items have been excluded from the contractor’s overall bid price for purposes of determining compliance with the minimum 20% L/SLBE requirement.
The
four firms listed below met the 20%: 15% LBE and 5% minimum requirement. All four (4) firms have also been awarded Bid Discounts as summarized below:
