As a direct survivor of gun violence, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise in violence prevention, intervention, and healing. I have worked on Oakland’s Ceasefire effort and see it as a strong, holistic way to advance public safety in our city. My background includes government service, policy development, community advocacy, and nonprofit leadership, all focused on advancing equity and safety. I am committed to ensuring the Commission uplifts community voices, promotes healing, and strengthens transparent, accountable approaches to public safety oversight in Oakland.
