RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF OAKLAND INV
ESTMENT
POLICY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026
WHEREAS , the City of Oakland may present a statement of its Investment Policy to the City’s legislative body annually; and
WHEREAS, on July 18, 2023, the City Council passed Resolution No. 89837 C.M.S., which adopted the City’s Investment Policy for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-2024; and WHEREAS, in accordance with best financial practi ces and sound financial management the City’s investment policy may continue to be pr esented to the City Council for approval each year; and
WHEREAS, the City’s proposed FY 2025-26 Invest ment Policy is presented herewith for City Council approval ; now therefore be it
RESOLVED: That the proposed City of Oakland FY 2025-26 Investment Policy, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is adopted.
