The Mayor's Office respectfully requests City Council consideration for the reappointment of two current
members
to
the
City
Planning
Commission
whose
terms
expired
in
May
of
2025.
The Planning Commission continues to play a vital role in guiding our city's development and growth
through
careful
review
of
land
use
applications,
zoning
matters,
and
long-term
planning
initiatives.
Maintaining
experienced
commissioners
ensures
continuity
in
ongoing
projects
and
consistency
in
decision-making
processes.
Proposed Actions:
● Reappoint two qualified commissioners for new terms ● Maintain institutional knowledge and project continuity ● Ensure uninterrupted commission operations Next Steps: The Mayor's Office will present the reappointment recommendations at the next Council
meeting.
Both
commissioners
have
demonstrated
