Dear Fellow Council Members and the Public: The attached resolution confirms the President of the Oakland City Council’s intent to amend Resolution

appoint

Janani
Ramachandran
as
the
voting
delegate
and
Council
Member
Rowena
Brown
as
the
alternate
voting
delegate
to
represent
the
City
of
Oakland
at
the
Annual
League
of
California
Cities
2025
Conference,
scheduled
to
take
place
in
October
8,2025-October
10,
2025
in
the
City
of
Long
Beach.
Furthermore,
this
resolution
authorizes
reimbursement
of
associated
travel
expenses
for
this
conference
from
the
Council
Contingency
Fund.
Approval
of
this
resolution
would
ensure
the
City
is
represented
and
uplifted
in
this
statewide
forum,
foster
collaboration
with
other
California
cities,
and
advocate
for
the
City’s
best
interests.
