Urgency Finding: The State needs the edits to the resolutions in order to issue a Standard Agreement for the funds that the State has awarded to these Homekey projects. These projects serve people experiencing homelessness. We need the Standard Agreement in order for the City to close our loan documents. The developers are in purchase contracts with sellers, and they need the funds to purchase the building etc. Also, this is for Homekey and the City urgently needs homeless housing to be placed in service as urgently and rapidly as possible.
