We are in receipt of your email requesting a hearing before City Council concerning preliminary findings of the Tree Services Division regarding violations of the Protected Tree Ordinance, Oakland Municipal Code Chapter
12.36, as outlined in the attached Notice of Violation.
As per your request, this hearing has been scheduled to take place following your return from international travel, and has been scheduled accordingly for November 4, 2025. Please confirm your availability for this hearing by emailing Isaac Harvey at [email protected]. The City will send a supplementary Notice of Hearing with any further information, including any outstanding fees related to this hearing, at least five working days prior to the hearing.
At this hearing, you shall have the burden of disproving the preliminary findings listed in the Notice of Violation. In the event you fail to appear at this hearing, these findings shall become final.
