The Mayor's Office respectfully requests that the City Council consider the reappointment of three
members
to

Residential
Rent,
and
Relocation
Board.
The
continued
service
of
these
members
is
essential
to
maintaining
the
Board’s
ability
to
carry
out
its
statutory
responsibilities
without
disruption.
The Housing, Residential Rent, and Relocation Board plays a vital role in administering and enforcing
residential
rent
stabilization
and
tenant
protection
policies
in
the
City
of
Oakland,
including
oversight
of
rent
adjustment
petitions,
hearings,
and
compliance
with
applicable
housing
regulations.
Ensuring
continuity
of
experienced
leadership
on
the
Board
is
critical
to
preserving
fair,
transparent,
and
effective
housing
governance.
