ADOPT A RESOLUTION:
(1) CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE FOR THE HOLDING OF A
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON JUNE 2, 2026, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE VOTERS PROPOSED BALLOT MEASURES;
(2) REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION TO
BE HELD IN THE CITY OF OAKLAND ON JUNE 2, 2026; AND
(3) DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TAKE ANY AND ALL
ACTIONS NECESSARY UNDER LAW TO SUBMIT THIS MEASURE TO
VOTERS AT THE JUNE 2, 2026, ELECTION
Please Find a Resolution Prepared for Your Consideration and Adoption Related to The Special Municipal Election. Staff Recommends That the City Council Adopt This Resolution Submitting the Proposed Ballot Measures to The Voters; And 2) Requesting Consolidation of The Special Municipal Election with The Statewide Primary Election of June 2, 2026.
The Resolution Has Been Reviewed and Approved as To Form and Legality by The Office of The City Attorney.
