OGAWA PLAZA, 2ND FLOOR - OAKLAND - CALIFORNIA - 94612 FROM: ZAC UNGER (510) 238-7001 Councilmember (District 1) E-mail: [email protected] TO: Oakland City Councilmembers and Members of the Public SUBJECT: ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RETROACTIVE REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES INCURRED BY FORMER COUNCILMEMBER DAN KALB FOR ATTENDING THE CIVICWELL CALIFORNIA POLICYMAKERS CONFERENCE IN MARCH 2024 DATE: May 7th, 2026 Colleagues on the City Council and Members of the Public, I am submitting this resolution on behalf of former District 1 Councilmember Dan Kalb. Former Councilmember Kalb attended and participated in the CivicWell California Policymakers conference in Yosemite California from March 14th, 2024 to March 17th, 2024. This conference brough leaders from across California to engage in policy discussions affecting Oakland around issues such as transportation, clean energy, sustainability, climate resilience, and housing. This resolution is needed to formally approve reimbursement of eligible travel expenses incurred while representing the City of Oakland at the CivicWell conference. Reimbursement will follow General Service Administration per diem and travel expense limits and be processed in accordance with City financial policies Thank you!
