RE: Appointment to the Budget Advisory Commission
The Mayor’s Office respectfully requests City Council consideration for the appointment of one qualified individual to serve on the Budget Advisory Commission. This appointment is intended to fill the Finance committee chair vacancy and ensure continuity of operations and the uninterrupted performance of the Commission’s essential functions.
The Budget Advisory Commissio
n plays an important role in the City of Oakland by providing guidance on fiscal policies, budget priorities, and resource allocation to promote transparency, accountability, and equity in the City’s financial decision-making.
Proposed Actions:
