RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCILMEMBER JANANI RAMACHANDRAN AS
VOTING DELEGATE AND COUNCILMEMBER ROWENA BROWN AS ALTERNATE
VOTING DELEGATE TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF OAKLAND AT THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2026 ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPO FROM SEPTEMBER 23- 25 Colleagues on the City Council and Members of the Public, Dear Fellow Council Members and the Public:
The attached resolution confirms the President of the Oakland City to re-appoint Council Member Janani Ramachandran as the voting delegate and Council Member Rowena Brown as the alternate voting delegate to represent the City of Oakland at the Annual League of California Cities 202 6 Conference, scheduled to take place September 23-25th 2026. Approval of this resolution would ensure the City is represented and uplifted in this statewide forum, foster collaboration with other California cities, and advocate for the City’s best interests.
