The Department of Workplace and Employment Standards (DWES) reviewed three (3) bids submitted in response to the above referenced project.
In summary, all three (3) bidders met the 50% Local and Small Local Business Enterprise (L/SLBE) requirement.
The L/SLBE participation requirement for this project was set at 50%: 25% LBE and 25% SLBE.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 90814 C.M.S., adopted by the Oakland City Council on July 15, 2025, the L/SLBE does not apply to pedestrian right-of-way construction, including construction of curb ramps, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and other ancillary work necessary for pedestrian right-of-way construction.
