MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE OAKLEY CITY COUNCIL HELD DECEMBER 16, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Hugh Henderson called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. Vice Mayor Aaron Meadows and Councilmembers Anissa Williams, Shannon Shaw and George Fuller were also present.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Mayor Henderson led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS
One online comment was received by a resident who did not state their name and will be entered into the record.
4. CLOSED SESSION
4.1 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL—ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: (One potential case based on November 3, 2025 letter from legal counsel for the Bay Area News Group to the City Attorney) Mayor Henderson announced the Closed Session item and mentioned the meeting will adjourn after the Closed Session.
5. ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:40 p.m.
