Minutes of the Special City Council Meeting held
July 14, 2026
1) CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.
Councilmember Shaw, Councilmember Williams, Vice Mayor Meadows, and Mayor Henderson were present; Councilmember Fuller was absent. 2) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Mayor Henderson led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 3) PUBLIC COMMENTS
There were two comments from staff to test the new two-way audio-visual system implemented in compliance with Senate Bill 707.
4) CLOSED SESSION
4.1 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -- ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation of litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: One potential case
Mayor Henderson announced the Closed Session item and mentioned the special meeting will adjourn after the Closed Session and the regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
5) ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
