JOINT MEETINGS
The Special meetings of the Ontario City Council and Housing Authority were held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Anthony Munoz Community Center, 1240 W. 4th Street, Ontario, California.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Leon called the Ontario City Council and Ontario Housing Authority special meetings to order at 10:06 a.m.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Mayor/Chairman Paul S. Leon
Mayor pro Tem/Vice Chair: Debra Dorst-Porada
Council/Authority Members: Alan D. Wapner, Jim W. Bowman and Ruben Valencia
ABSENT: Council/Authority Members: None.
Also present were City Manager / Executive Director Scott Ochoa and City Attorney/Legal Counsel Ruben Duran.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor pro Tem Dorst-Porada.
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Leon inquired whether persons were present who wished to speak to the Closed Sessions items. Hearing no one, City Attorney Duran announced the matters for discussion as listed on the agenda, and the City Council recessed to Closed Session at 10:08 a.m. for discussion of the following:

• GC 54957.6, LABOR NEGOTIATIONS: City Negotiator: City Manager or his designees; Bargaining Units: AFSCME Local 3061, Teamsters Local 1932, Association of Management Employees, Confidential Group, Part-time Employees, Department Heads, Executives, Ontario Professional Firefighters Association Local 1430; Ontario Fire Management Group, Ontario Police Officers Association, and the Ontario Police Management Group.
Mayor Leon recessed the meeting at 10:08 a.m. and reconvened at 11:44 a.m.
REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Duran announced there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Leon adjourned the special meetings of the Joint Agencies at 11:44 a.m. and announced the next regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
