The City Council of the City of Orange, California convened on January 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in an Adjourned Regular Meeting in the Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, California.

1. OPENING/CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Murphy called the meeting to order at 11:04 a.m.

Present: Barrios, Tavoularis, Gutierrez, and Murphy
Absent: Nichols, Monaco, and Dumitru
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
None
3. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The City Council recessed to Closed Session at 11:06 a.m. with all Members present, except for Mayor pro tem Nichols, Councilmember Dumitru, and Councilmember Monaco who were absent, to discuss the following:
a. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b).

4. CLOSED SESSION REPORT
Council reconvened in Open Session at 11:10 a.m. City Attorney Sheatz reported the City Council voted unanimously to continue Closed Session to Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
