RESOLUTION NO. 11377
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 11366 AND AMENDING
THE CITYWIDE PAY SCHEDULE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
OF CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS,
TITLE 2, SECTION 570.5
WHEREAS, the City of Orange ( “City”) contracts with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System to provide retirement benefits for its employees; and
WHEREAS, per California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 570.5, the City must abide by the California Government Code when establishing and reporting compensation for its employees; and
WHEREAS, the attached Citywide Pay Schedule must meet the following requirements:
be duly app roved and adopted by the employer’s governing body in accordance with requirements of applicable public meeting laws ; identiy the position title of every employee position; show the pay rate for each position; indicate the time base for each pay rate; be posted at the office of the employer or immediately accessible for public review during normal business hours or be posted on the employer’s internet website; indicate an effective date and date of any revisions; be retained by the employer and available for public inspection for a period not less than five years; and not reference another document in lieu of disclosing the pay rate; and
WHEREAS, on February 8, 2022 , the City Council approved Resolution No. 11374 relating to the classification, compensation, and terms of employment between the City of Orange and the Water Division Employees’ Association effective July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2023 with an amended monthly salary range effective January 2, 2022; and
WHEREAS, on February 8, 2022, the City Council approved Resolution No. 11376 , which amended Resolution No. 11272 between the City of Orange and the Orange Management Association to add the classification of Permit Supervisor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange that Resolution No. 11366 is hereby rescinded and the attached revised Citywide Pay Schedules are approved and incorporated.
