1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 20-21.36, Annual Sewer Line Replacement/Maintenance FY 20-21; and authorization to file Notice of Completion.
2. SUMMARY
The project consisted of replacing aging sewer infrastructure and pipes that were structurally deficient, improving pipeline capacity, and minimizing maintenance issues.
The project included the replacement of approximately 3,820 linear feet of existing 6” lines with 8” clay lines. The rehabilitation of approximately 1,879 linear feet of sewer by cure-in-place pipe liner, and the reconnection of service laterals throughout the City. The City of Orange entered into a contract with Big Ben Inc. The work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Annual Sewer Line Replacement/Maintenance FY 20-21 project (S-244) as complete, and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
