By contracting out this activity, the City has realized salary savings over the years.
In January 2022,the Department expanded the scope of work with Sagecrest to include planning staff services to backfill vacant positions in the Planning Division, while recruitment is ongoing. This proposal is to increase compensation to cover the cost of contract planning staff through the end of the fiscal year in order to maintain a high level of customer service and continue to meet customer City of Orange Printed on 3/3/2022Page 1 of 2
