2. SUMMARY
The 2021 Crime Report is prepared by the Orange Police Department and includes crime statistics and information on arrests and calls for service.

Receive and file.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
At the January 11, 2022, City Council meeting, the City Council directed staff to provide a crime report for 2021 in preparation for upcoming policy discussions related to the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget process. The attached report was prepared by the Orange Police Department and includes crime statistics along with the number of calls for service and arrests by City Council district.
