This is to inform you that CDBG allocation for FY 2021 has been revised. The allocation has been increased by approximately 1.5%. Please open this link to view your new CDBG amount:

We realize that the timing of revision may be problematic for many jurisdictions. We anticipate that for most jurisdictions, this nominal change will not trigger a substantial amendment; however, the SF 424 will have to reflect the revised amount and the additional money will have to reflected in IDIS.
Our Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, James Arthur Jemison II, has provided a blanket waiver that has reduced the citizen participation public comment period from 30 days to 3 days. This waiver is in effect through August 16, 2021 and is limited to facilitating preparation of the grantee’s FY 2021 Consolidated Plan or Annual Action Plan and FY 2021 Plan substantial amendments.
Please note that you will receive an email this week transmitting the new CDBG Allocation letters, dated May 13, 2021 and copy of the waiver notice. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CPD Representative assigned to your community. We apologize for the inconvenience this change has created and look forward to working with you to rectify this situation.
