1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 20-21.03, Installation of Radar Feedback Signs at Various Locations, Highway Safety Improvement Program L-5073(089); and authorization to file Notice of Completion.
2. SUMMARY
The project installed radar feedback signs along three arterial segments in the City as a traffic calming measure. The radar feedback signs are solar powered with a backup battery and were installed on either existing street light poles or freestanding on a new signal pole. The three arterial segments where radar feedback signs were installed as part of this project are:
· W La Veta Avenue from S Flower Street to S Bedford Road · E Collins Avenue from Wanda Road to Bond Avenue
· E Chapman Avenue from N Equestrian Drive to Jamboree Road
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Installation of Radar Feedback Signs at Various Locations, Highway Safety Improvement Program L-5073(089), SP-4037, as complete and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
