2. SUMMARY
Four claims have been received and investigated by the City Attorney’s Office and/or the Risk Manager with the involved departments.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Deny the following claims and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster:
1. Seymour Lathan
2. Joey Ramirez
3. Gary L. Bixel
4. Phillip Matthew Cortez

None.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
1. Claim for damages from Seymore Lathan alleging personal injury when Claimant drove his bicycle into a pole.
2. Claim for damages from Joey Ramirez alleging property damage when Claimant tripped and fell on a sidewalk causing cell phone screen to break.
3. Claim for damages from Gary L. Bixel alleging personal injury when Claimant tripped and fell in the City of Oceanside.
4. Claim for damages from Phillip Matthew Cortez alleging personal injury due to a traffic collision with an Orange County Fire Authority vehicle.
