2. SUMMARY
Four claims have been received and investigated by the City Attorney’s Office and/or the Risk Manager with the involved departments.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Deny the following claims and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster:
1. Dalante Bell
2. Esther Castillo
3. Ricardo V. Lopez
4. Enrique Valadez-Ortiz

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
1. Claim for damages from Dalante Bell alleging violation of civil rights due to contact with the Orange Police Department.
2. Claim for damages from Esther Castillo alleging personal injury when Claimant tripped and fell on a City sidewalk.
3. Claim for damages from Ricardo V. Lopez alleging property damage to residence irrigation line due to City street maintenance.
4. Claim for damages from Enrique Valadez-Ortiz alleging personal injury when Claimant fell in an OCTA bus.
