6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
To establish eligibility for funding through the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funding program, local agencies must submit a project list-resolution to the California Transportation Commission (CTC). At the May 10, 2022 Council meeting, Resolution No. 11389 was adopted by City Council to satisfy the funding eligibility requirement. Upon submitting to the CTC, the City was notified that Resolution No. 11389, as adopted, was missing required information regarding the estimated project schedule for the rehabilitation of the streets identified in the resolution.
