We are a “Vision Zero” product part ner. All of our systems have the capability to prove their o wn effectiveness! We are “Making Roads and Neighbo rhoods Safe, Clean, and Green by monitoring speeds and types of vehicles!”
Unique Qualifications of the Company:
There are a number of reasons to choose Fortel Traf fic, Inc. as your prime contractor. As a manufactu rer it is important to note that FTI stands behind its produc t or the products(s) it represents. Building durab le, versatile, and effective traffic safety related equipment since it s inception has been its mission. FTI has a storie d history of establishing new and innovative traffic safety equi pment. In fact, FTI was instrumental in helping es tablish the specifications for speed feedback signage for the M anual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices also known as the MUTCD. Later innovations included various technolo gies associated with management and control of the signs through a centralized management system. Its produ cts (over 10,000 products sold in hundreds of local , state, federal, and international agencies) have always be en designed with the end user in mind, naturally le ading to equipment that has stood the test of time.
FTI is time tested having manufactured vehicle calm ing equipment for over two (2) decades in the marke t. The municipal agencies engineering department indicated that because the city has observed the product wor king for (15) years, the city would have to gamble to utiliz e a competitor’s product because of the uncertainty of whether a competitor’s product will work or not; and FTI is a company that has made traffic calming its specialt y. This laser focused strategy of manufacturing for over a decade vehicle calming products and listening to traffic engineers and other stakeholders, upgrading its capabilities in t he interest of the customer, has allowed FTI to sta y ahead of the competition in regard to features and benefits that the end user receives; and FTI has chosen to speci alize in the traffic calming area. FTI’s strategic intent to con tinually improve the product creates a different re lationship experience with agencies. FTI is more than just a competitor that for instance may have purchased ano ther company’s product with the sole motivation to sell the product as a low cost leader, and not necessari ly concentrate on spending capital on research and development for future features; and FTI being local services its product quickly having gone through factory certification providing personal and professional attention to servicing i ssues; and Scout™ is a progressive solution to accessing and m anaging the equipment. No other company has such a way of extracting the information, graphing, and doing the heavy lifting including effective reporting requirements.
