Seven claims have been received and investigated by the City Attorney’s Office and/or the Risk Manager with the involved departments.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Deny the following claims and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster:

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
1. Claim for damages from Rowena Tobias alleging property damage when branches from a City tree fell on Claimant’s vehicle.
2. Claim for damages from Jennifer Vaughn alleging property damage to Claimant’sresidence when a window was broken by a rock that was thrown by machinery during the replacement of City trees.
3. Claim for damages from Courtnie Minchaca alleging personal injury when Claimant fell as a passenger in an Anaheim Regional Transportation bus.
4. Claim for damages from D’anelWinsor alleging personal injury when Claimant fell as a passenger in an Anaheim Regional Transportation bus.

into a City light post and caused the light post to fall onto Claimant’s residence.
