1. SUBJECT
Approval of amendment to Orange Management Association (OMA) salary tables increasing the salary for the classification of Senior Plan Check Engineer. Resolution No. 11425.
2. SUMMARY
Resolution No. 11425 amends Resolution No. 11272 to increase the salary for the classification of Senior Plan Check Engineer.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt Resolution No. 11425. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Resolution No. 11272 between the City of Orange and the Orange Management Association.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact as the funds have already been allocated for this range in FY23.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
On November 10, 2020, the City Council of the City of Orange adopted Resolution No. 11272 amending a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Orange Management Association (OMA). Resolution No. 11425 amends the salary tables to increase the salary for the classification of Senior Plan Check Engineer.
The Senior Plan Check Engineer position is compensated at salary range 608. Upon further evaluation it has been determined that this position’sassigned duties and responsibilities are aligned with that of a Senior Civil Engineer, salary range 637. Therefore, staff is proposing a salary increase for the Senior Plan Check Engineer classification to be compensated at range 637 within the OMA MOU. This financial adjustment was approved during FY23 budget adoption and will align the compensation of the current classification with the previously approved budget.
