The Committee discussed the following:
• Irrigation
• Street trees on Katella Avenue
A motion was made by Vice Chair McDermott, seconded by Committee Member to recommend Planning Commission approval of the Design Review No. 5060-21, Rapids Express Carwash, 1325 West Katella Avenue, subject to the findings and conditions in the staff report. The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: McDermott, Skorpanich, Farfan, and Imboden
Noes: None
Absent: Fox
NEW ITEMS
5.1. Design Review No.4799-15, St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church Multi-Purpose Service Building, 941 N. Hewes Street
The Committee discussed the following:
• Previous entitlements
• Deficiencies with the site plan and elevations in the packet RECESS: The Design Review Committee recessed at 6:07 p.m. and reconvened at 6:23 p.m. with all members present, except Committee Member Fox who was absent.
During discussion, the applicant requested a continuance to the September 21, 2022 Regular Meeting to allow the applicant to prepare a rendering for the Committee that includes the entire build out with the new proposed building.
A motion was made by Chair Imboden, seconded by Vice Chair McDermott to continue Design Review No. 4799-15, St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church Multi-Purpose Service Building, 941 N. Hewes Street to the September 21, 2022 meeting per the applicant's request. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aves: McDermott, Skorpanich, Farfan, and Imboden
