Re: Agenda Item 7.2
The requirement to substantially amend the Consolidated Plan for 2020-2024 has been determined to not be required after further review and consideration. The priority needs and goals identified in the existing Consolidated Plan are in alignment with the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan proposal as it exists.
Additionally, the section referring to the Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA) is modified to state that the City will develop the plan consistent with Council direction and look to partner with affordable housing developments, such as Valencia Gardens, due to its proximity to the site. Any agreements by the City and affordable housing developments will come to Council for approval before implementation.
