1. SUBJECT
Authorize purchase of seven vehicles for various departments using a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement.
2. SUMMARY
Purchase and equip vehicles and equipment for various departments from National Auto Fleet Group.
City Council has previously approved the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement as a standard for vehicle and equipment procurement.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve the purchase of seven vehicles from National Auto Fleet Group for $316,839.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
The total expenditure for this purchase is $316,839 and will be funded through the Vehicle Replacement Fund (720).

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The City Council has previously authorized a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (CPA) using Sourcewell as a standard for vehicle and equipment procurement. This purchase is a continuation of that policy.
Sourcewell contracts are nationally solicited, competitively bid, and awarded. National Auto Fleet was awarded contract No. 120716-NAF for Cars, Trucks, Vans, SUVs, and Other Vehicles. Through Sourcewell’scontract with National Auto Fleet Group, pricing discounts range from 1% to 25.86% across 15 manufacturers depending on the model. The average discount to the City for this purchase is 7.54% for a combined savings of $21,461. The seven vehicles that will be replaced will cost $316,839, and their descriptions are below.
