This popular event draws hundreds of thousands of visitors over the three-day period requiring months of planning and coordination. As per the agreement, OISF reimburses the City for all costs and expenses incurred by the City for the production of the event, which is primarily staff time for Orange Police Officers and Public Works personnel. In addition to being a popular community event, Street Fair is also a fundraising opportunity for local nonprofits. All food and beverage booths are operated by nonprofits, with first priority given to Orange-based groups.

The proposed First Amendment to Agreement for Production of Orange International Street Fair would extend the term of the existing agreement with OISF for an additional two years, through December 31, 2024. It would also make minor scheduling adjustments by allowing Children’sStreet to remain open until 9 p.m. (the original agreement stipulated that it close at 8:30 p.m.), and that the City of Orange Printed on 2/8/2023Page 1 of 2
