2. SUMMARY
Four claims have been received and investigated by the City Attorney’s Office and/or the Risk Manager with the involved departments.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Deny the following claims and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster:
1. Adam Apollo
2. Raida Castro
3. Steve Defazio
4. Vinh Tien Hua

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
1. Claim for damages from Adam Apollo alleging false arrest and for reimbursement of inspection fees.
2. Claim for damages from Raida Castro alleging property damage to vehicle when Claimant drove through spilled paint on the road.
3. Claim for damages from Steve Defazio alleging property damage to residence due to a fallen City tree during a high wind event.
4. Claim for damages from Vinh Tien Hua alleging property damage, theft, and malpractice.
