1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 21-22.28; SP-4183, Annual Pavement Maintenance at Various Locations Project; and authorization to file Notice of Completion.
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange entered into a contract with R.J. Noble Company to rehabilitate streets at various locations throughout the City. The work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department
The project included the rehabilitation of two arterial streets and 36 residential streets throughout the City of Orange. The rehabilitation consisted of removing and reconstructing severely damaged pavement sections, grinding, and overlaying the rest of the roadway. Other aspects of the project included replacement of damaged curb and gutter, and reconstruction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk access ramps.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Bid No. 21-22.28; SP-4183, Annual Pavement Maintenance at Various Locations Project as complete and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
