1. SUBJECT
Authorize blanket purchase order for annual maintenance of various hardware and software from Sidepath, Inc.
2. SUMMARY
The Information Technology Department utilizes many technologies (including hardware, software, and services) from Sidepath, Inc. The various technologies listed in the attached document have associated annual maintenance costs that are required to keep those technologies up to date and supported by the listed vendors.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve blanket purchase order for annual maintenance of various hardware and software items from Sidepath, inc. for $382,000.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
The total expenditure for this blanket purchase order is $382,000 and will be funded through Information Systems Fund (780).

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
Rather than bringing individual items to City Council for every purchase, staff is requesting approval of a blanket purchase order to cover all annual maintenance items provided by Sidepath, Inc.
Sidepath, Inc. provided pricing to the City through NASPO cooperative agreements for most of the technologies on the list and several of the items have previously been approved by the City Council.
The Information Technology (IT) Department spends more than $30,000 in a rolling year with Sidepath, Inc. and as such, the blanket purchase order will be a more efficient method for both City Council approval and payment processing. The IT Department is dependent on maintaining all Sidepath hardware, software, and services to keep the IT infrastructure healthy and secure. The attached list contains annual support from the following vendors that are provided through Sidepath, Inc.: Arctic Wolf (Security Operations Center as a Service), Dell (Servers, and Storage), Palo Alto (Security Firewalls), Ruckus (Network Switching and Wireless), Sidepath, Inc.
