1. SUBJECT
Appropriation of $10,000 in revenue from Community Partnership donations.
2. SUMMARY
Collected revenues are recommended to be appropriated for 2024 City Special Events.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Accept into the City’s Fiscal Year 2023-2024 budget $10,000 in community partnership donations into revenue account 100.7015.48390.20530, Donations - Special Events 2024 Season.
2. Authorize the appropriation of $10,000 in the following Fiscal Year 2023-2024 expenditure account number 100.7015.51355.20530, General Fund - Special Events 2024 Season.

The revenue received funds the requested appropriation.

Goal 3: Enhance and promote quality of life in the community a: Renovate, maintain, develop, and/or expand public use places and spaces.
6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
Community Partnership Donation
The City’s annual Community Partnership Program solicits donations to support Citywide special events. The City’sdonation policy states that single donations greater than $10,000 may only be accepted and appropriated by the City Council. Dave and Busters became an “OrangeTree”partner for the 2024 Special Event Season and donated $10,000. Staff is requesting a total of $10,000 to be accepted and appropriated to help cover the cost of the City’s annual special events.
