1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 21-22.34; SP-4144, Katella Avenue Street Improvement Project; and authorization to file Notice of Completion.
2. SUMMARY
The project consisted of the rehabilitation of Katella Avenue from the SR-55 Freeway to Harding Street. The rehabilitation consisted of removing and reconstructing severely damaged pavement sections and grinding and overlay of the roadway. Other aspects of the project included replacement of damaged curb and gutter, and reconstruction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk access ramps. The City of Orange entered into a contract with Excel Paving Company. The work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Katella Avenue Street Improvement Project as complete, and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
