1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 22-23.05; SP-4086; Cannon Street at Serrano Avenue Intersection Improvement Project; and authorization to file Notice of Completion.
2. SUMMARY
The project consisted of widening the south leg of the intersection at Cannon Street and Serrano Avenue by adding an additional right turn lane. The improvements included the construction of new asphalt, concrete curb, gutters, sidewalks, sidewalk access ramp, wooden fence, installation of a water quality structure (Filterra Unit), modification of the existing traffic signal, relocation of existing streetlight, existing pavement rehabilitation, landscape/irrigation modifications, signing and striping.
The City of Orange entered into a contract with Hardy and Harper Inc. The work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Cannon Street at Serrano Avenue Intersection Improvement Project as complete, and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
