1. SUBJECT
Adoption of Resolution 11492 resetting the time of the Planning Commission regular meetings.
2. SUMMARY
The proposed Resolution would change the start time for Planning Commission regular meetings from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt Resolution No. 11492. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange Rescinding Resolution No. 11466 and re-establishing the number of members, qualifications for membership, purpose, compensation and meeting information for specified City Boards, Committees and Commissions with a change in the meeting time for Planning Commission from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
On March 28, 2023, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 01-23 to amend Orange Municipal Code Section 2.64.040 so that regular meetings of the Planning Commission shall be held “at a time established by resolution of the City Council.” The proposed Resolution re-establishes the structure of specified Boards, Committees and Commissions and, in furtherance of Section 2.64.040, designates the time of Regular Planning Commission meetings as 5:30 p.m. rather than 7:00 p.m., consistent with other Boards, Committees and Commissions.
