Re: Agenda Item 3.2 - Agreement with RLA Conservation, LLC for Plaza Park Fountain Conservation Treatment
On the agenda for September 26, 2023, is an item to award an agreement with RLA Conservation (RLA), LLC for Plaza Park Fountain Conservation Treatment an amount not to exceed $104,005.
Staff is requesting to withdraw this item. Subsequent to publishing the agenda for the Council Meeting, staff, Robert Chattel (the City's contracted historical preservation consultant), McCandless Tile, and CA Pottery agreed that a different cleaning method will be evaluated.
Consequently, the RLA's scope of work may change. Staff will return to a subsequent Council meeting with an agreement with RLA once the scope of work has been confirmed.
