Dear Public Works Representative,
On the weekend of May 17-19, 2024, Chapman University will be holding its annual Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises at the Orange main campus. We are expecting approximately 10,000 guests over the three days for the various ceremonies.
Although we provide extensive instruction and ample parking, many first time visitors may inadvertently park on a street that requires a permit adjacent to the residence life area. For that reason, we are submitting our traditional request, asking that the parking permit requirement be lifted from Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Additionally, we would like to request a suspension for Move in Day on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20, 2024, for similar reasons.
Thank you, as always, for your help and support.
Respectfully,
Rlammy

The Orange International Street Fair Inc. respectfully requests permission to hold the 52% annual Orange International Street Fair in the Old Towne Plaza District on August 30th through September 1st , 2024. and use the public parking lots of 100 block of S. Orange St. (behind the Army Navy store) and the 100 block of S. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Orange International Street Fair Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the City Council for the generous support it has given over the last 51 years. Without this support, it would not be possible for a greatly successful event year after year.

To Whom it May Concern:
The Orange Blossoms Auxiliary, an Auxiliary of Assistance League® of Orange is requesting the closure and usage of the public parking lot located adjacent to our chapter house at 124 S.
Orange Street for the purpose of holding our annual fundraising event, "Taste of Orange". In our twelfth year, the Taste of Orange continues to grow in popularity but we are not making any changes to the footprint of the event, instead we are limiting the number of tickets sold.
Date: Sunday, May 5, 2024
Event Time: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Set-up Time: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
Clean-up Time: 7:00 pm to 9:00pm
Location: 124 S. Orange Street, Orange, CA 92866
Purpose: Fundraising event for Orange Blossoms Auxiliary Activities: Food tastings, silent auction, opportunity drawings & live entertainment Anticipated Number of Participants: 750
We have attached a map of how we would like the parking lot divided for the event with markings to indicate fencing, emergency exits, flow of attendees, tents, stage, tables and potential location for porta-potties. As in years past, we are asking that the entire parking lot be included in the "No Parking" restrictions. In addition, we are requesting the parking spaces on the East and West side of Orange Street, directly adjacent to the event, be blocked off for vendor parking from 12pm-8pm. This parking restriction will be after church services at the adjacent church and should not affect them, but we will coordinate any possible issues with them in advance of the event.
Also as we did in 2023, we have included further details below:
• Flow of People - as indicated on the map, all attendees will enter through the front door of our chapter house and walk through our building, onto our patio, and then enter the outdoor fenced area. The parking lot area will be completely fenced in with 6 foot tall fences so no people will be able to sneak in to the event. At the end of the event, the Assistance League® of Orange • 124 South Orange Street • Orange, CA 92866 Phone: 714-532-5800 • FAX: 714-532-5805 • www.OrangeBlossomsALO.org emergency exits will be opened to allow attendees to exit and vendors to breakdown their booths
• Security Plan - each attendee will be given a wristband at check in that they will be required to wear for the duration of the event. As stated previously, the parking lot area will be completely fenced in with 6 foot tall fences so no individuals will be able to sneak in to the event and nothing can be passed over the fence line. In addition, we will have a representative from our organization stationed at each emergency exit to ensure that it is not opened without authorization as well as individuals roaming the crowd to ensure each person present has a wristband.
• Parking Plan - we will have a sign on each corner to direct attendees to street parking as well as the city owned public parking lots located closest to our chapter house. As these are all city owned lots, we are requesting permission to direct attendees to the following public parking lots located at:
• N. Orange & E. Maple - 2 lots adjacent to each other
• S. Olive between Chapman & E. Almond
• S. Grand between Chapman & E. Almond - 2 lots adjacent to each other • N. Center just north of Chapman
• S. Center & E. Almond
• In addition to signage, we will have a detailed list of parking options in the area available on our website for the event and will be actively encouraging people to carpool.
• For vendors & volunteers, we are also requesting permission for them to park on S. Orange St immediately adjacent to the event.
We greatly appreciate all the assistance you have given us to ensure our event is a success.
Please let us know if we have omitted any pertinent information to take the next steps in obtaining city approval and our special events permit.
Sincerely yours,
Brittan Cox

RE: Parking Request for Boutique Noel 2024 - Assistance League of Orange Dear Honorable Mayor and Council Members:
Assistance League of Orange is requesting dedicated street parking Sunday, October 6 through Saturday October 12, 2024. We will be holding our 30# Annual Holiday Boutique Noel on October 9-12 in 2024. Approximately 20 vendors will set up their merchandise at our Chapter Center on October 6 and 7 and return daily during the event to re-stock their booths. Boutique Noel draws around 2,000 people who shop our boutique, as well as enjoy dining and shopping in downtown Orange.
For many years, the City of Orange has graciously provided us with dedicated parking for our vendors along South Orange Street, thereby reducing the impact on parking in the lots at 100 South Orange Street and the parking lot south if Chapman Avenue between Grand and Orange Streets. This dedicated street parking for "Boutique Noel Vendors Only" has freed up city parking lots for use by local shoppers and patrons.
We respectfully request the city's support in providing us with dedicated "Vendor Only Parking" on South Orange Street adjacent to the 100 S. Orange Street lot, between the two driveways, and one space in front of our entry door at 124 S. Orange Street. We also request four (4) spaces in the northeast corner of the same lot directly beside our building.
Boutique Noel is a fundraising effort and community outreach opportunity. Proceeds from the event support the sixteen philanthropic programs organized by Assistance League of Orange. We thank the Major and City Council of Orange for their ongoing support of our community programs and the fundraising efforts that finance them.
Sincerely,
Iday Kooney
